In the school year, 1956-'57, Allan Segal, then engaged in a budding career as a young Broadway musician, was recruited  by Principal Charles Mosback to become our Musical Director expressly for the purpose of beginning a tradition of quality Broadway musical productions on the stage at OHS annually every spring. Over 50 years later, that tradition is still going strong. Here is the history as compiled by a senior currently (in 2009) in attendance at OHS:
